Comprehensive Rolling Stock Maintenance for CMRL
In March 2024, MEMCO commenced the comprehensive depot maintenance and Mainline Support for CMRL. MEMCO became the first company to handle recruitment, impart training and issue competency to the maintenance staff. MEMCO is at the helm of various essential departments within the depot such as:

Recruitment
MEMCO has successfully recruited 148 candidates for various departments of Rolling Stock Maintenance Activities.

Training
In Collaboration with the customer MEMCO has successfully trained the recruits using classroom training and on-job training in their respective departments.

Competency
MEMCO designed department-specific competency exams for candidates. These exams evaluated their ability to handle maintenance tasks. Exam scores, weekly assessment averages, and competency viva performance decide who gets certified.

Deployment
All well-trained Maintainers are deployed in various departments of rolling stock maintenance activities.

Preventive Maintenance
MEMCO with Its Preventive Maintenance team is responsible for all the scheduled maintenance in co-ordination with DCC and PPIO

Corrective Maintenance
MEMCO Corrective Maintenance team is ready to handle any unscheduled maintenance activities at a moment’s notice from PPIO.

MEMCO DCC team is responsible for the smooth operation of all the activities within the Depot.

PPIO in coordinating with both the Maintenance and Operation teams ensures operational fitness of the trains.

The store’s team adeptly oversees inventory and store operations to ensure a seamless provision of materials for PM and CM activities.
